Uncle John will be remembered by our family as the devoted husband to my mother\'s Catherine Bauer Gadbois late sister, Margaret. Aunt Marge & Uncle John lived in Califoria during the years of our generation growing up, but their visits to DC were always special. Although Uncle John will be missed, he can now rest peacefully with Aunt Margie.
Mr. Van Schaick was a very good friend of my father, Nat Stetson. My parents are buried in the plot next to the Van Schaick\'s. I was at the cemetary this morning to place new flowers and clean the bronze on both headstones. I didn\'t know that Mr. Van Schaick had died until I read the paper this evening. I am so very sorry and hope there will be a local service.
