Jean was a friend and inspiration to me.
Always smiling and looking forward to the next fun thing, a visit from her children, a concert, or just stopping for a chat.
Jean was a formidable opponent at the game Upwards, a form of scrabble that she trounced me at every time we played.
I will miss my friend, her smiles, her giggles and her love of life

I think of Jean nearly every day! My husband (Bob) and I purchased her home in Greece, NY... and moved in 8 years ago (Thanksgiving night). We began our married life in this home. The neighbors here on Moorland Road still reminisce about Bob and Jean! My condolences to all the family members.
God Speed Jean!

Jean was one of my dearest and most admired friends. I always told her she could be the poster child for our generation. She had boundless energy, was extremely disciplined in her eating habits, and was fiercely independent. Also, do I need to mention her voice was incredibly beautiful? So i say goodby, dear friend. Thank you for all the good times we shared and for the pleasure of your company.
With love, Mary Mills

i sang in the choir of Lakeside Presbyterian Church with Jean back in the day! She was always a delight to be with and so full of energy and wit! I would visit her in the big house on Latta Road and she would tell me stories of her adventures and of the bird watching we both enjoyed. We didn't see each other for many years, but in 2019 we had the opportunity to get together again for a short visit. She had moved to a much smaller home but was still active, even in her near 90's! Jean was a compassionate and wise woman, and I will always fondly remember her.
I send comfort and sympathy to her family and friends.

Our sincere sympathy to Jean’s family.
We will always remember Jean for her love and great kindness to all of us. We will miss her friendly greeting and chat during our
morning stroll with our dog Rascal. Rascal would look forward to a pet from Jean and a conversation about her latest work of love
for her family, which was taking much time and effort. She would ask about my husband Dan and his knee operation and later come
to see him during his recuperation. She will be missed by all of the neighbors who loved her as much as we did.
Sincerely,
Dan , Eileen and Rascal Zoladz
