I have such good memories of Janine and her stories of Paris. We traded letters about my travels (especially to Paris). She also made the most delicious tarts. She was always so elegant, with such a sense of style. John, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Janine had an amazing romance and adventurous life. Frank and I are sending love and will keep you in my prayers. [I am spelling her name Janine because that's how she spelled it in her letters to me - perhaps she changed it along the way? Or just had her own je ne sais quoi!]
John, so very sorry for the loss of your love Jeannine. It was obvious to me, and to Leroy, that you two had a very special marriage, and that you adored each other. She was a sweet and lovely lady! Praying for you for God's peace, grace and comfort. Your neighbor, Ferris.
