Obituary of Pamela Cook Braswell

Funeral services for Mrs. Pamela Cook Braswell, who entered into rest October 7, will be conducted on Friday October 11 at 11:00 am at George Funeral Home of Aiken, SC. Reverend Richard Barnard and Chaplain (Major) Daniel Braswell officiating. Interment in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. 

 

Mrs. Braswell of New Ellenton, SC, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was born in Aiken, SC on April 12 1955,  and was the daughter of Jesse and Ruth Cook. A member of Foreman Memorial Baptist Church and a life-long resident of New Ellenton, her greatest joys in life were cooking for  her family and supporting her husband Tommy in all their life and ministry endeavors. She was predeceased by her parents Jesse and Ruth Cook, her sister Peggy (Framp) Eaves and stepmother Elvira Cook.

 

She is survived by her beloved husband William Thomas “Tommy” Braswell,  of New Ellenton, a son, CH (MAJ) Daniel (Cheryl) Braswell, of Ft. Stewart GA, daughter Ruth (Joe) Kelsey, of Lexington, and a son, John (Deanna) Braswell, of New Ellenton. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, Lexie, Michael, Joshua, Shamirra, Rachel, Bruce, great grand-children Celeste and Eries, as well as two sisters, Karen (Bill) Eaves, and Terry (Gary) Hanna and step-sister Gail (Keith) Ussery.

 

Pallbearers include John Braswell, Joshua Braswell, William Eaves, Jason Brittain, Lawton Eaves, and Joe Kelsey.
