I was Jack’s neighbor since we both moved to Aiken at the same time. Wonderful neighbor and friend. I enjoyed nothing better than sharing my home made Irish Soda Bread at St. Patrick’s Day with Jack. Will miss you always. Sharon

Jack and I have been friends for 65 years. We have shared many fond memories. The one that is most memorable, is our yearly Christmas luncheon… we all came together to celebrate the season and reminisce the old days. Till we meet again “J.P” for our next one. Rest In Peace dear friend.

I've had the great honor of knowing Jack for the past 12 years. We met for the first time when he and my sister Marilou visited when our mother passed away. Jack entertained our dad, during a very difficult time, with conversations about travel and experiences in the military. Marilou and I were so grateful for Jack. Jack and I became kindred spirits after Marilou's passing. I will truly miss our long phone calls, his sense of humor, and his devotion to family and friends. He was truly one in a million.

Jack was a true friend, always ready for a new adventure. Jack was basically part of our family, coming to most of our celebrations in South Carolina. I smile every time I remember Jack saying, "Coulda, shoulda, woulda!" Jack will be greatly missed. He's in a much better place. Love you brother!
